Funding
Mobile VCE Core Research is funded by subscriptions from Industrial Members, supplemented by a grant from Government given to support research in UK Universities.
Industrial members currently (2003) pay an annual subscription of £36,000 (or multiples thereof). Members' contributions are augmented by a grant from the UK Government, through EPSRC, of £1.5M over a three year period. The innovative funding arrangement provides our Industrial Members with substantial financial leverage, facilitating access to a major £4m research initiative at a minimal annual cost.
